A Path of Love and Purpose
In the quiet whisper of your heart, a gentle call echoes—an invitation to discover the truest version of yourself.
The Sacred Invitation
This is not just a journey. It is a sacred invitation to a life defined by divine love. You were not called with force or thunder, but with the soft persistence of a love that seeks you out. It’s a path where your hands become the hands of compassion, your voice becomes the voice of comfort, and your heart becomes a shelter for the most vulnerable.
– John 15:16
Each step you take toward your vocation is a step into **friendship with Jesus**, a journey into the mystery of love that heals, serves, and gives without measure. You are not called to be perfect. You are called to be **willing**. To walk with others, to listen, to grow, and to give your "yes" — day after day — to a Love that never fails.
Your Vocational Itinerary
The training for religious life is a journey to prepare young women to follow Jesus Christ in the Hospitaller religious life. It is designed to help you discern and discover what God seeks from each person: a deep friendship.
1. Aspirant
The goal of this training stage is for the aspirant to learn about the Congregation and to prepare for the next phase, starting with an initial period of interest and discovery.
2. Postulant
In this phase, the postulant participates in a progressive experience of the Hospitaller life and mission, which helps her, through a process of maturing as a human and as a Christian, to discern her Hospitaller vocation.
3. Novice
The objective of this phase is to clarify and purify vocational motivations, to become initiated in the practice of Evangelical Councils, to expand the experience of God, and prepare to take religious vows.
4. Junior
The goal of this phase is to achieve full human, Christian, and Hospitaller maturity in order to commit definitively to Christ through final vows. It lasts five years.
When the last phase is complete, the initial training ends and we move on to what we call **permanent training** because it lasts a lifetime.
