Hospitaller Sisters launch campaign 'Your struggle is also ours' on mental health
The Hospitaller Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus have launched a new awareness campaign titled “Your struggle is also ours” (Su lucha también es nuestra), aimed at raising public awareness about mental health and supporting those who battle mental disorders.
The initiative, driven through social media channels, seeks to break the stigma surrounding mental illness and encourage communities to stand in solidarity with those affected.
“Every person living with mental illness deserves to be seen, heard, and supported,” said one of the sisters involved in the campaign. “This is our way of reminding the world that no one should face their struggle alone.”
The campaign shares stories of recovery, daily life at the centres, and messages of hope from both residents and caregivers, fostering a deeper understanding of the realities of mental health challenges.
